SERIES RULES
Both the Late Model and Modifieds run
each scheduled race night.
The feature series for each night and
laps they will run are posted on the schedule. ie: New
Symrna 100 MODIFIED on schedule will run the main feature event 100
laps in the Modifieds. The Feature Division will have
cautions, 2x pit stops and Realistic Damage. This division
will also have the lucky dog rule for 1st car 1 lap down (See Lucky
Dog rule below)
The "B" Main will run 1/2 the
distance before the Feature division and will be NO Cautions, 1x pit
stops and Moderate Damage.
Feature series will pay out points
per NASCAR CUP, with the following exceptions:
NO 5 POINTS FOR LEADING MOST LAPS
NO 5 POINTS FOR LEADING A LAP.
5 POINTS WILL BE ISSUED FOR POLE FOR
FEATURE
5 POINTS WILL BE ISSUED FOR CAR
MOVING MOST SPOTS UP.
"B" Main race will pay out the
following points:
25 points for 1st
15 points for 2nd
5 points for 3rd
"B" Main starting positions will be
determined by handicapped starting order, by your standings in the
points. Newcommers to EDD will start in rear for both features
for 3 nights before being allowed to be handicapped or qualifying.
LUCKY DAWG RULE
The lucky dawg is determined after
caution, to be the 1st car one lap down, that crosses the start
finish line 1 on 2ND Caution lap. Recipient of the LD will
drive into pits on 2nd caution lap and either pull out of pits
directly onto track or speeds out of pits to get the "End of longest
Line" penalty. The LD will then type the letters "eoll" in the
chat and inform the admin of the series. The admin will then
issue the lap back after the race goes back green. If admin
misses giving the LD, then next caution, LD will STAY in his
position and admin will make same attempt next green flag.
NO RACE BACK TO LINE AFTER CAUTION
When caution comes out, hold your
position.
With 10 laps to go, we RACE back to
line if a caution comes out.
Cars 1 lap down or more after 10 to
go restart will start in the rear, by getting the end of longest
line penalty.
CONDUCT RULES
All rules are to ensure fair, even
racing and good conduct while running in the EDD Racing Server.
The 2 designated admins from the series in
question, and 1 person not involved in the incident, and a driver
from EDD, to be picked at random, to be called the judges, are to
decide the rule or rules broken and follow the following guidelines
for penalties.
Flaming: Verbal
abuse, attacks and profanity.
PENALTY:
1st Offense:
Immediate ejection from race, 3 league race suspension in that
division, Loss of admin privileges.
2nd Offense:
Ban from all competition at EDD Racing.
Intentional Wrecking:
When it is determined that a driver intentionally wrecked another
competitor on the speedway during a race event. At least 3
judges to agree on intent to wreck.
PENALTY:
1st Offense: 1
LEAGUE RACE SUSPENSION IN THAT DIVISION, LOSS OF 20 POINTS, 3 WEEKS PROBATION*.
2nd Offense:
1 MONTH SUSPENSION FROM ALL ACTIVITIES AT EDD
RACING.
Reckless Driving:
Driving with disregard for the consequences of your actions.
This will include barrelling through wrecked cars, improving on
position by wrecking other cars, putting other competitors in a
hazardous situation by the driver in questions actions.
PENALTY:
3 RACE PROBATION*,
LOSS OF 20 POINTS.
Careless Driving:
Causing an incident by careless actions, or not paying attention.
PENALTY:
Warning, consultation with officials before the next event.
Chatting during race event:
Chatting more than 2 times at a Race event
in League competition will result in a penalty.
PENALTY:
3 RACE PROBATION*
*Probation is a period of time that any
breaking of the rules or disregard for the rules or competitors of
EDD will result in a 1 race suspension and/or loss of 20 points.
Any league race attended by the driver on probation at EDD
will count toward the 3 race probation. |
