EDD TRACK RULES
FUN & FAIR RACING IS THE GOAL THE FOLLOWING PENALTIES ARE ISSUED DURING RACE EVENTS ---WARNING: Issued to driver and car# for inappropriate behavior or driving ---BLACK FLAG: Issued to driver and car# for not heeding warning and serious violation of rules ---EJECTION: Issued to driver for bad conduct and intentional wrecking ---BAN: Issued to driver & car# for cheating and continuing inappropriate behavior RULES: > No Blocking or Lowlining. Lowlining is allowed ONLY ON LAST LAP. Blocking cars is reason for black flag or ejection. After passing start finish line with ONE lap to go, leader may lowline only, never block high. > No cursing, flaming or trash talking during the race. This rule is watched and will be upheld by officials > No unnecessary chat during race. Let the officials administer the race please. > Even start of race. Pole sitters are to ensure good even start. > No intentional wrecking. Period. > If you question a drivers actions on track. Type car # ???. Officials will look if able. > Restarts are discretion of Officials. After official calls GOOD START...there will be NO RESTARTS. > No cheat programs or NOS buttons. DRIVER WILL BE BANNED WHEN CAUGHT. Officials know top speeds at our tracks. > No bumping on any turn. Straight bumping only. > All lapped cars go high for leaders. Officials will try to warn you when they are close. Do not interfere with leaders. > No wrecking after race is over. This raises incidents in ratings. This will be enforced > Black flag may be lifted by official. Inform Official of black and he will review and remove at his discretion. > Do not bad mouth officials. If you have a complaint about officiating, please contact EDD racing email > After incident on track. Official will review and warn, black flag, eject or ban the driver who caused it. Sometimes this is just racing, and then no penalty will be issued. > Race with your head. Many drivers take this seriously, we ask that all drivers do this at our tracks. Winner Burnouts are encouraged at end of race
